In 2 seasons since the largest FA deal in Atlanta Braves history (5 year 75.25 million)

BJ Upton has hit a combined (in 2 seasons)
.197/.277/.310 he has averaged 10 home runs a year with 30 RBI, 161 strikes a year with only 50 walks. He has played in 265 of a possible 324 games as well.

No need to turn away. We've been seeing it firsthand for a while. We're used to his shitty performance.

Uggla.

I didn't meet a single Braves fan that wasn't peeing themselves over getting him.

Wren may have been terrible, but can't blame him for this one.

5 years 62 million
You got a .209/.317/.391 out of him which is still higher than Upton... over 4 years he averaged right at 20 home runs 61 RBI... so for less than Upton you got more production

I knew he was battling the Mendoza line, but only 30 RBIs per season? Wow.

You really think we didn't know about BJ? He's part of the reason Wren got canned.

I'm pretty sure there are pitchers on the roster that can drive in 30 a year and hit .19 fricking 7

I fricking hate BJ Upton's guts. I do.

I knew it was going to end up being an awful contract when they signed him but I never thought he'd be this bad.

It's unbelievable

I never liked that signing for them to begin with.

There was plenty of outfielders they could've gotten to get production for a a fraction of that 15 mil a year.

A huge blunder.
