How impressive was the UCLA win over ASU?

ASU started 9 freshman on defense. 4 plays more than 80 yds allowed. Should ASU even be ranked?

I still think UCLA is the most overrated team in football and will get slaughtered by Oregon. I think they drop another to USC/Stanford/Utah.

3 awfully unimpressive wins, and last night's "big" win over ASU. How good is UCLA?

Eta: Help settle an argument with a friend and fellow poster. Who wins between LSU- UCLA and MSU-UCLA? I think SEC takes both.

UCLA is likely just starting to hit its stride. If their OL continues to hold up, they are going to be a tough out in the Pac 12.

There's some potential for them to start reeling off quality wins. The schedule sets up nicely.

Oregon has a bad, bad defense too.

Will be a high-scoring game.

watching the game it seemed like you could reasonably say there was a 28 point swing with UCLA getting away with two blocks in the back that sprung two TDs and also got away with PI against ASU twice in the endzone of different drives.

This is pretty typical of this board.

Some intelligent, well read guy comes here and generally demolishes all of your southern-centric arguments.

All that's left is for you to attack the messenger.

How do I know you're probably Mormon?

Your lack of character and ability to reason.

You also left out that they were starting their back-up quarterback from what I believe. UCLA is not good. They barely beat a bad Texas team (albeit with Neuheisel), and scraped by Memphis and Virginia. Arizona St. beat Colorado by the same amount that Colorado St. did. Both of these teams would not have been in the top 20 if the polls didn't come out until the 3rd week of the season. Because ASU was 15th, the win will look better to the media than it really is.

Not sure. Everyone posted their top 25s last week and nearly all had ASU in the top 15 just about SC. Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with SC being ranked lowly, we haven't done much to prove otherwise. However, if you looked at ASU's schedule you'd see that they had played no one prior to the UCLA game.

Vanilla Ice - isn't your 5 minutes of fame over?

Never said they were the better team...said nobody watched but ASU fans...and neutrals then posted bullshite the next day....and morons like you - read the boxscore and got their panties wet thinking that was the reality of the game.

ASU had control of that game.

Talk to any ASU fan of which I am not...they had some horrible pick 6's before the half which changed the game.

So go frick yourself...because you just read the boxscore like an idiot moron.

UCLA has a ton of issues and it's obvious to smart people unlike you....people who watch the Pac on a whim...vs. people who follow the Pac all the time.

My entire post was about UCLA and how overrated they are lol

It's obvious everyone thinks you're a clown, and I feel bad that you "follow the PAC all the time."

The way we're playing we'll make UCLA look like an NFL team.

That UCLA team I watched last night would have gone in dry on the LSU team that showed up Saturday night.

LSU's speed in the secondary would've prevented most of the long touchdowns, but they probably still would've scored quite a bit.

LSU didn't tackle that poorly either, just had coverage breakdowns.
