we rotate a lot of players in, on both sides of the ball any idea how that works out? I would think we rotate in a lot of freshman and sophomores.

Two of the 3 seniors on defense are a liability (welter and martin) with beckwith and adams being more talented backups who are sophomore and freshman respectively.

You there is a big steamy dump on your theory.

That is true. If you (not you specifically) would have said before the season that MSU would come in and beat LSU, I would have said that was a reasonable prediction. It had to happen again sometime, and this was one of MSU's better teams.

Now if you would have told me that MSU would come in and completely dominate, outplay, and out-coach LSU, I would have said "no way." That, to me, is the much bigger concern.

trust me....if MSU had crawled back and beaten LSU on a last second hail mary this board would look exactly same.

It's way more important to look at where the seniors are.

Our 2 worst players on defense probably are seniors, our fullback who no one gives a shite about, and our worst O-Lineman is a center.

Meltdown yes. But its even more fueled by the WAY we lost. We were destroyed via strength and speed, totally dominated by the opponent. Dominated like we haven't witnessed in a long long time.

We are "young" at QB and WR and a little at DT. However,
- the "youth" stops there
- The point of the OP is State wasn't that much more experienced than us; it's a wash.
- Teams with comparable youth at QB and WR field O's that function way better than ours.

In summary, the idea that "youth" is some great problem that's hurting us is fertilizer.
