"With qualifiers “I think” and “it could change,” it appears as if Miles’ decision is written in erasable marker. Especially after Miles allowed that Harris had closed the gap and has been “getting a lot of snaps” with the first-team offense in practice this week."

"After throwing five touchdown passes the first two weeks of the season, Jennings has thrown none the last two."

"If Miles were looking to make a switch, this might be the week to get Harris’ starting feet wet. After Saturday’s game against the 2-2 Aggies, the Tigers will face both No. 5 Auburn and unranked Florida on the road."

That can't possible be true. I've learned from the Rant that Miles is stubborn (whatever in the hell that is supposed to mean) and never changes anything.

I actually thought there were too many different threads about this topic, but this one was to me, worthwhile.

Pretty clever--Rant consensus based on the way Miles has done it most years is that he is very stubborn about this, but maybe there is hope.

This game is sure a great chance for Harris to get more badly needed snaps so he can be ready to go vs. Auburn the following week, since many of us have a strong feeling he'll be needed in that game.

Define the difference between stubborn and having faith in your plan.
How soon would you panic and throw away your plan? 1st series?

I was trying to give at least a little optimism to some disappointed supporters.

I would hope Miles would make a change soon enough to give the Tigers a chance to upset Auburn, esp. if Jennings struggles at the start of that game as so many of us seem to expect to happen.

But let's see if we can get any idea from this week's game about QB rotation.

I think Les is trying to get fired so it will be easier to get the Michigan job.

Not true. He was just waiting for the opportunity to yank Lee once JJ became eligible, and switched as soon as he had a bad game.

And I've learned from the rant that there is no limit on stupidity. There is always a poster willing to step up and fill the dumbest poster of the day slot

Agree with this. Let's face it, if Harris doesn't get a significant number of snaps Saturday then we'll know.

In the end it doesn't matter who the frick is at QB!

Our O-line needs to block better or LES needs to put our play makers in space so they can make a play!

Our D-line and LB's need to get off blocks, pressure the QB and make tackles!

If we don't fix this most ricky-tic we "could" be looking at a 7-5 or 6-6 season!

Will be very interesting this week to see how the QB rotation goes. In interviews this week, Miles has seemed very open to giving Harris a real shot at winning the starting spot. Can't wait until Saturday night.
