How's the fishing been at Indian creek.

Went yesterday. You can catch huge bluegill right now on grass edges. The bass had been schooling, but basically stopped after the last push of cool air. They have not been biting at all. The White Perch have not moved up in any appreciable numbers yet. If you see an orange sit in with a green sit on, that's probably me and the wife. if you see a white with red stripe NauticStar, that's me. Our camper is there, and will be there until 10-31.

Crappie jigs by accident. A friend of mine is going out in the morning with crickets.

If you want to catch 10 or so really nice ones, get very, very small jig heads and some bass assassins like:



Not that color, just that type body.


If you want better numbers, get crickets.

For bluegill, I cannot imagine it makes much difference, but they sure love Cajun Cricket.

What number you on? My brother got a pull through and is there til same date. We will be out the last three weeks of Oct. with him on 54.

Yeah, tha's a nice spot. I think we are just across the beach cove from you then. Not sure how much we will be out between kids,my school and mother-in-law's cancer stuff going on, but hope to be out every weekend. Will def come drink one with ya
