My roster:

QB: Cousins, Brady
RB: McCoy, Lamar Miller, Terrance West, Joique Bell, Toby Gerhart
WR: Julio Jones, Alshon Jeffery, Torrey Smith, Andrew Hawkins, Josh Gordon
TE: Greg Olsen
D: Texans
K: Nick Novak

Trade: I give Greg Olsen and Lamar Miller, he gives Eddie Lacy and Antonio Gates

Trading Miller for Lacy is textbook buy low/sell high, but am I overpaying for lacy by throwing in Olsen also?

Olsen is going to be very consistent this year barring injury. He's also the only veteran target on that team. Id toss West into the mix and snag Crowell... see if he bites.

I had an opportunity to trade Olsen for Gates the week after Gates caught 3 TDs

i didnt do it

I think Olsen is going to be a very steady presence in that offense all season

he and Benjamin get nearly all of Newton's targets

As for the RBs, I do think Lacy will pick it up and I would trade Miller for him

I wouldnt trade olsen though

He actually has Crowell on his bench. I could offer him west for crowell, but I don't think he'd go for it.

I think you win in the long run. Isn't Gates injury prone towards mid season?

That and I think that that 3 TD game was a fluke

Olsen may never have a 3 TD game but I nkow im gonna get points out of him every week

This is what I'm thinking also. I love having a steady TE every week, but I also need a solid RB2. When Moreno and Ben Tate come back, my RB2 will be a crap shoot every week.

Lacy for Miller is a huge upgrade. Who acres about Olsen. Gates is fine and if not, this year is easy to find productive TE's.

Three weeks ago the idea of Miller and Olsen for Lacy would have been absurd.

Unfortunately, no. Somebody snagged him last week. I think I'm just going to add West and Crowell to the trade and see if he goes for it.

These are the kind of posts that I'm looking for. I'm hesitant on the trade, but I really like the idea of having two stud WR's and two stud RB's (assuming lacy turns it around).

Do that trade.

Last year in my league (.5 PPR, 1 point every 15 yards), Olsen outscored Gates by 8 for the season.

I think this is a no brainer.
