I have one of those purple and gold LSU visa cards issued by Capital One. They sent me a notice today informing me that the LSU cards will no longer be offered and that they are sending me a plain visa card to take its place. I do not want a regular card. I want the LSU card. Where can I get one? Thanks.

Put said card in this unless you plan on paying it off every month

I don't charge excessively and don't carry a large balance. I don't care much about the terms of the card. I want it because it has the purple and gold LSU logo.

Is Cap One ending their sponsorship of LSU?

My guess is someone will have a branded card in future

Who cares what a card looks like? It's all about the rewards earning for me.

Also aren't their credit cards you can design yourself, or did that fad die out?

That was my first reaction as well. Unless they throw a swastika or something on the front of my card, I couldn't care less as to what design is on it. Yeah, some are cool and made of metal or platinum colored, but that's just a cool factor and not the basis of me getting the card.

I don't think CapOne is discontinuing their sponsorship of LSU. They still advertise in the stadium. Unless the president of CapOne made the decision after attending the Miss. St. game. Thanks for the link to the new BOA LSU card.

I got a new Cap One credit card for better rewards than Chase. When I applied, I was allowed to pick my own picture to put on the front. I found a LSU picture of my choice and it was approved. It just can't be copyrighted.

You can design your own card on their website. Just upload a picture and presto.

Good. Maybe I will keep my CapOne card and put my own LSU picture on it. I will ask my fellow Tiger fans to post sample pictures that I may want to use. Thanks.
