Would Anthony Jennings still be starting? It sounds like a no brainer, but knowing our coach.

I'd really love to see the rant in that scenario:

Harris could have cured cancer in the huddle and AJ would be starting this week.

Nope, do you remember how Lee won the Florida game for us in 2010? JJ was the QB the following game. Les doesn't care and sadly won't change anything until we lose much more

Harris could have won the 2011 championship on the last play and AJ would be starting this week.

I know. But this would have been the biggest comeback in school history. It would almost be comical for Les to still play AJ the next week.

So why does coming up one pass short change things?

Has NOTHING to do with his inability to play QB in the SEC! I am sure you thought Jefferson was great?

My thing is, what kind of message does it send to the players that the obvious best player isn't starting?

The D was definitely garbage but I mean, our offense only put up 3 points the entire game until late 4th quarter. The constant 3 and outs didn't help, yardage wise they killed us but at leas they made stops here and there. The offense rarely could get first downs.

There is no doubt the D would have performed way better if the offense did anything the entire game.

And harris playing against zero pass rush and a prevent defense proves hes ready, huh?

FWIW i think harris should start.

No one said that! obviously Jennings isn't ready, thats why u play someone else. People need to stop with excuses for Jennings and other players, they are a problem for our team and u need to fix it, as well as playcalling and personnel

On the flip side, JJ came in and "saved" the Bama game in 2011 and DID start the next week.

I dont agree with this, other points were scored when lee wasnt on the field.

I think Harris is the guy ,but im not freaking out until he doesnt get in until we are up 40 pts. then it was a complete waste and will tell me we are riding with jennings until it's too late.

So we have a frosh who is better and want him to play, but to do so one must be throwing the other under the bus?
