If we didn't have those 2 JV opponents we prob would be in the triple digits on defense

There are 105 teams that can complete a higher percentages of passes than us. Think about that...

We were ranked in the 90s during the fun and gun wide open JJ era and he never made a change, he's probably happy with being 60th

People are surprised that our offense is not as good after losing all of our skill position players?

Shocked, I tell you.

You think a team that has as much talent as we do should be where we are with our offense? I knew we wouldn't be "as good" but we shouldn't be this bad.

Those stats are mind-boggling. Not many years ago 437 ypg would be near the top and now its average nationally. Tells you something about the SEC when 11 teams rank in the top half of the country in total offense and a 12th(Mizzou) just outside it.

Maybe the most misleading stat I have ever seen in my life.

60th? Mildy surprised, but not really.

We are playing with a QB that has been in college for a little over a year and has 5 games under his belt. All of our receivers are freshmen and a sophomore who had a total of 7 catches in his history.

Not really sure what some were expecting. Hopefully the offense will naturally progress as our very young players continue to acquire experience not only by playing opponents but also by playing with each other. Perhaps that offensive ranking will climb up toward 20th. That would be a very impressive feat considering the youth and inexperience.

They really aren't the problem. We have a veteran O-line that most everybody believed was one of the better units in the SEC. It has woefully underachieved.

That's the first thing we need to fix. Without solid line play, we could put (insert favorite all-time great QB name here) and it wouldn't make much difference. If you can't run, then passing becomes more difficult given the offensive scheme we run.

If you were to average out les miles tenure at LSU the offense would rank about 6oth. So that's about right
