Don't think this is too surprising.

Does anyone else find it odd that no one's making the point that the fact that Stewart's car didn't act differently than the cars ahead of him is immaterial? I mean, he wrecked Ward. He would have known that Ward's car was on the wall there. The others in front of him would not have known that.

Tantillo also said Ward was under the influence of marijuana at the time of his death, according to toxicology reports. The marijuana in his system "was enough to impair judgment," Tantillo said.

I've got mixed thoughts about the whole thing, but this is silly.

Ward being high has nothing to do with Stewart running him over.

Not at all, but I would have expected him to have an advantage in reaction time relative to the drivers who had no clue there was a wreck.

His being high might have something to do with his dumb arse walking down the track into moving cars.

I'm pretty sure chad is more making a statement about Stewart's intentions.

Damn and the dude was high.

T. Stewart had no reason to be charged. Good for him!

Wasn't Ward wearing dark colors? It's at night, and who knows what the field of view is like in those cars.

I don't know. Unless Stewart was giving him the bird as he plowed him over, nearly impossible to prove.
