...ing. The lady friend and I want a nice, relaxing place to share some small plates, some wine or a good drink, and the nice weather.

Any specials would be great if you know of them. This request is more about atmosphere than food, honestly.

Thanks, good people!

Cafe Amelia
Bayona might be seating outside tonight.

Cellar Door

You're welcome in advance for the action you get tonight.

CellarDoor is awesome my fiancees friend is one of the owners…but the outdoor spot is pretty small IIRC…maybe 2 tables with one table being for a large group…if your sole reason is to enjoy the weather I would pick bacchanal as it has one the best outdoor area in NOLA plus they have amazing drinks…the gazpacho and shaved brussel sprouts are on point

but the panties will drop at CD.

I think it's 4 tables and a couch / lounge area. Could be wrong though. Either way, I was thinking about convenience of location as well as it having small plates. Bacchanal is a great spot as well no doubt. Either one would be a nice night out.

This, or possibly Dominque's. You might be called upon to cook though. Not sure who's in the kitchen at this point.

First off, the panties are already going to drop.

So, Bachannal sounds really nice. So far I have that one as my lead candidate, a friend recommended Sylvain, and I'm looking at Barcelona Tapas.

Keep them coming, ladies and gents. And thanks for the replies.

Is Cafe Degas open for dinner? Their seating will probably be open to the outdoors today.

They are. Good call. Their duck pate

Sylvain is a great place but I personally don't like eating on their patio. It's too removed from the main dining room and feels kinda awkward and boring.

Also consider Delachaise or Cure.

I didn't even know Dominque's had a patio until a couple of weeks ago when we went for happy hour…from an interior decorating perspective, it's gotta be one of the tops in the city…the patio looked bad-arse too with comfy couches and like OBrah mentioned, they lost their chef so it'll probably be a very private date night

You can remove this from consideration. They closed about a month ago.
