has got to be the most underrated movie of all time. It's not for everyone, as it is long, and there isn't much action, but it's a beautiful movie. the cinematography and score is amazing, the acting was excellent as well. it's probably my favorite western of all time, with unforgiven coming in second.

Has this ever been on Netflix instant? I'd like to smoke a bowl, drink a bottle of red wine and watch this.

I really enjoy artsy/foreign films but the problem with lots of them is I enjoy them most while high, and it's a pain in the arse to read subtitles while you're high

Best movie I've ever seen high was "The Grand Budapest Hotel". Cracked my shite up - that was a glorious 2 hours of movie-watching.

You'll need multiple bowls. It's a long one.

I totally agree. It is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's been fairly polarizing on this board and I'm in the camp that loves it.

As for those asking about streaming it: I'd say this is one of those movies that is really enhanced by bluray. It looks absolutely beautiful. Visually stunning. It's up there with House of Flying Daggers for me as my favorite "visually interesting" movies.

I loved it. I can see why some people would hate it. It is not a traditional Western, but the story, look, and tone of the movie were excellent to me.

I love the ending sequence in house of flying daggers. Hero has a similar fight scene as well thats visually stunning.

Casey Affleck and Pitt killed it. Fantastic acting.

I really liked it. Very well done. Not for quick thrill types but great for slow powerful character development.

I totally disagree. It was a really mailed in performance by Brad pitt....it was really slow and boring. If anything this is overrated.

I love this movie so much. Brad Pitt & Casey Affleck were perfect. Jeremy Renner & Sam Rockwell were also (as always).

One of my favorite movies of all time. The way it's shot is fantastic.

Me too. I love the shots like looking through old timey glass during the narration sequences. I think Affleck was like mid-30's playing a 19 year old & boy did he pull it off.
