I would assume no matter where you buy a car (out of state as well), you will pay what you would if you bought near your home for taxes. What is the standard for title and license? Does it vary or is it something thats close to the same price at any dealership?

You'll have to pay the taxes for where the vehicle is going to be registered.

Don't pay more than $100 for title and license on a passenger car. Some dealers try to add processing fees and tire disposal fees to bump it up to $200 which is pure profit for them. Sales tax they can't really tamper with and it's determined by where you live.
