Everyone knew they were young, everyone knew they might lose a few. However, this team is resilient and doesn't stop fighting.

Down 24-7 to a Wisky team in the 3rd, they came back and won 28-24

Down 34-16 to a damn good Moo State team in the 4th, they came back and fought like hell to the last play.

I will say though, that Brandon Harris, Fournette, and Dupre need to see the field way more. Harris and Fournette should be starting, and Dupre should get more time. Hilliard is not the answer and neither is Magee. I know the line hasn't been that great, but we returned 4/5. Hilliard and Magee looked much better complimenting Hill, which is what i feel they should be doing with LF.

LF may not look like a world beater right now, but neither did Hill or Gurley. Gurley may have had awesome stats, but if you look at his games most came against some weak teams.

Also Welter is not the answer, he just isn't physically gifted or talented enough.

This team is still young and dangerous, who would have thought that Auburn would win the SEC and go to the BCSNCG while they were getting stomped by LSU? Things happen and stuff changes.

All points made are correct IMO! Harris, Fournette, and Dupre are the present and future of this football team! How Welter continues to see the field astounds me. Most plays he just doesn't seem to be anywhere near the actual tackle and that's not going to get it done in the SEC. You would think we have some other capable players waiting to get an opportunity with the stock pile of talent we supposedly have on our roster. Drastic times call for drastic measures. Let's get the QB situation fixed and move on from there. Geaux Tigers!

I know I may be falling victim to backup QB syndrome here, but Harris really impressed me at the end of the game. I hope he gets a chance to start against NMSU. We're not as bad as we looked for most of the game on Saturday, but some adjustments do need to be made. Plenty of time to turn things around.

I agree, youth cost a big portion of that game. Defenders trying to be hero's instead of making sure tackles and a very predictable offense (except for a handful of trick plays that didn't trick anyone).

I am still really excited about the future too.... Although I do think the strengths of this team will lend more to a 3 wide spread type attack, particularly with a mobile Harris. That would also give Quinn many advantageous one on ones on the inside and both Chi and Dural are showing the deep threat/jump ball aspect.

Spread would give LF space which is crucial until he becomes more patient in following his blocks (I still think he shows signs of mega stardom and needs 20 touches a game)

Ofcourse this wont happen.

The future stars are in the house...may take a few lumps this year, but future is bright.

Down 34-16 to a damn good Moo State team

After they play A&M, Auburn, Bama, Ole Piss, get back to me on how damn good you think this Miss State is.
