He looks the same as he did before, minus the wigs and makeup.
Phil is a fricking genius though. He WAS all of the groups he produced. The guy came up with the melodies, the arrangements, the lyrics, the fricking song notes himself and then he recorded it and mixed it himself as well. All the performers did was play or sing. Listen to some of that old wall of sound stuff. It's pure pop gold.
He was right about mono, too. Stereo is a gimmick that's rarely actually done well. That's especially true of recordings that were originally intended for mono and converted to stereo when stereo became such a fad.
