The Best & Worst League Logos

In the spirit of all the recent discussions regarding crests and logos I offer logos of the leagues...
Major League Soccer:
Bundesliga:
Primera Division:
Serie A:
Premier League:
Ligue 1:
Eredivisie:
Liga MX:
A-League:
Russian Premier League:
Premier League is the one all others strive to reach but don't quite make it IMO. Lion is damn majestic. I also like this particular Russian patch; the wings are usually awesome:
Worst IMO is the messican. It looks like a kid's coloring book. A-League also looks like someone dropped an orange from several stories up.

Honestly, the Premier League has the best one by far. I really don't think the MLS logo looks that bad at all, especially if they backtrack and take ideas from the fan-made logos using the whitespace. Plus, it's got an erection, which very few logos can pull off.
I'm not sure why, but I've always disliked the Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1 logos. I'm not sure if it's because they have a bit too much gloss to them or what, which may be a web development qualm. Honestly, almost all of them are pretty bad to me outside of the Premiership and, with some work, the MLS logos.
The MLS logo has the potential to be really great, though. I mean, come on...

I like Bundesliga, EPL, Ligue 1 and Eredivisie... not a huge fan of the rest..
But truth be told, I don't really care about the logos much more than a passing yay or nay...

To me, it looks like one of those case badges that would come on a shitty computer. It looks really cheesy and like there was some attempt to be "stylish" with it. I really hate the glossy look. The flat design to the Premier League and MLS (for the most part) are what is most appealing about them. They don't look gaudy as shite.

The line fills what would be empty space, or negative space. By filling that space it creates positive, or energetic space.
When people were saying that extension was 'energetic' they were absolutely right, if you are using graphic design vocabulary.

I can see how that would make sense to graphic design people. But not all people are graphic design people. In fact, most people are not graphic design people. Therefore the line is nothing more than a stupid talking point for graphic design people.
