Just some things to think about. This post has very little to do with losing against state. It's how we loss and why, which has most people aggravated once again with Les.I am a LSU fan but I have never loss sleep over watching the Tigers until the other night, stupid I know but it sucks watching a team with so much talent being led by a coach that takes pride in being a politician more than a coach. He plays the game with the media and fans. He can say or do what he wants because most people have no clue how ridiculous he his. I will only speak about this past game with state and not the Ole Miss game a few years back,pretty much 4 games a year in which he is completely in over his head or National Championship in which Bama owned us.
1)please kick the fg and get the points in the 1st. I know you think every OL you have coached can over power its opponent but that wasn't the case after they got stoned 3 straight players. please put your pride to the side and put your team in the best position to succeed.
2)everyone tells you this but throw the ball on 1st down to loosen up the D so maybe there will be less than 8 in the box so you can run your quick toss play which you have been running for 8 + years now.
3) let Cam open up the play calling and let your studs play football. If not let them go to Bama, Oregon, and A&M so they go have some fun.
4) what the hell happened before the end of the 1st half the other night? once again you have no idea how to manage the clock. You ran the ball then let 30+ seconds go off the clock before calling a TO so u can run 1 more play with 3 seconds left. How does that make any sense?? Play for the FG at least.
4) please stop talking about how you tell your team to play like Tigers. How old are you? You are the only "coach" in the country that uses his own mascot to pump his team. Do u think saban tells his team to stomp on people like a herd of elephants, Spurrier tells his guys to be cocks to their opponents and go play a great game, or Jimbo telling ESPN when asked about his halftime adjustments that he told his team to throw spears through Clemsons hearts.
5) MSU ran QB power,QB lead, QB draw and inside Zone out of a 3x1 and empty formations while we sat in a 4x1 box and didn't make an adjustment until the 3rd quarter. we didn't have the numbers and we all saw what happened. the backer basically blocked himself every play based on his alignment which means they only had to get through the 1st level of defenders which isn't hard when you have 5 blocking 4 and a backer which runs himself out the play on zone and gets smashed on power.

Les makes close to 100k per quarter, which is insane when you talk about his decision making and how much he under achieves with the talent he brings in year in and year out. I don't care about his record. It's miserable to watch his teams " scratch and claw for victory" when they should straight up dominate and run away with games from the 1st play from scrimmage. For years we have watched your teams struggle against subpar and less talented opponents. Some will call you a " players coach" but lets be real the players' like your style because you let them get away with things and once they are a starter life is good. You don't demand excellence. You talk about it and hope for it.
