quote:

“They’re unique,” said fellow Pelicans guard Eric Gordon of the uniforms. “It’s going to be a good start to the year, once we use them in the first game.”

quote:

“For some reason, I think red makes you look faster,” Gordon said. “There’s something unique about it.”

Dude will probably nab a few Pulitzers after his days in the NBA are over.

Rivers also chimed in

quote:

“My favorite color is red,” Rivers said. “I love it.”

He didn't say they are "pretty good" so that means he likes them.

'As a player, I’d like to be held accountable,’’ said Gordon, who is set to earn $14.8 million this upcoming season and can opt out of his contract with one year remaining after this season. ''I just want to have high expectations. I mean injuries come and go, it can happen to any player on this team. I’m looking forward to maintaining good health all year.'' Gordon has set the bar high this season. He wants to be an All-Star participant like Davis was last season. ''I definitely want to be an All-Star,'' Gordon said. ''I’ve came close a few times. In the past three years, injuries have slowed my down a little bit. But I’m looking forward to showing a lot of different ability. I definitely would like to have the ball in my hands more and all that.''

i wasn't aware that being a good public speaker or providing quotable material was part of the resume of an NBA player.

all i give a shite about is his ability to produce on the court this year.

Red as in the color of the Arizona Cardinals.

The Arizona Cardinals as in centered in Glendale.

Glendale as in a suburb of Phoenix.

Phoenix as in home city of the Phoenix Suns

Dude just can't stop wanting to play for the Suns.
