Pat Forde pointed out how empty the stands were at the end of the game Saturday, and called LSU fans "the quickest to get off a sinking ship." On Moscona's show today he pointed out that LSU fans have become spoiled, and that Tiger Stadium and the fans have lost their edge. The stadium is great for a big-game atmosphere when LSU is good, but otherwise it's not what it once was.

Our fans are incredibly ignorant and very spoiled.

I'd rather be spoiled and have won something than being the best fan in the world of a loser.

How is LSU any different than anyone else in this regard?

Often I think some of our fans just watch the games to post some shite on Tiger Rant. I for one wish I were close enough to attend games.

That is why I ask if with Miles offense LSU still has home field advantage.

Saban has been bitching at BAMA fans for not showing up or leaving early for the last two years

quote:

I've talked about players playing for 60 minutes in the game and competing for 60 minutes in the game," Saban said. "And, in some kind of way, everybody that choses to go to the game should stay there and support the team for the game.

"Maybe if you're not interested in doing that, you should let someone else go who would really like to go because I have a lot of people who want to go,"

One of the reasons Saban is so concerned about what the stands look like in the fourth quarter is the possible impact it has on visiting recruits.

"We have lots of recruits there, we like to see an enthusiastic full stadium," Saban said. "We have a beautiful stadium and one of the nicest venues in all of college football and I think we all should show our appreciation for it by staying and supporting our team for the whole game."

There are plenty of schools who fill their stadiums on a weekly basis no matter who they play.

No kidding! Michigan tickets are being given away when you buy a freaking Coke product, for Pete's sake.

Get ready for a lot of people telling you to stfu and etc, but you are right.

Big game Saturday night, when the game is close, it is still awesome.

Otherwise, it is terrible. As fairweather as they come, and that ticks me off.

Often, I think our "fans" want us to lose so they can come on here and bitch like school girls about how we might not win a single SEC game and our coaches suck, our players suck and if we can't see that there is some epic problem with our program then we are blind homers.

It's pretty pathetic.

Basically Moscona said that the only way they'll get hungry again is if LSU goes on a 10-year run of crappy results. He used Tennessee as an example.
