No. He has serious potential. As dumb as he is he throws a gret ball, maneuvers well and has shown touch at times

I actually like him going forward as much as I shite on him

Michael Vick has been in the league for over a decade and it's the same song and dance with him. Gotta give Geno time to mature.

Geno didn't look horrible to me last night. He doesn't have any talent at the WR position. He made some plays that you cringed at but every QB will do that eventually. Get him some playmakers and another year before the final judgement is given.

This is why it must suck being a New York athlete. Can't blame LeBron James for not going to the Knicks. Geno Smith is basically Jay Cutler and yet in year 2 they want to get rid of him? Did you see how he played yesterday he was pretty good save for the first interception.

He has a lot of potential. He makes mental mistakes at times but so does Mike Vick. Geno can be really great. He has great pocket awareness and throws a great ball.

I think he's doing fine.

If Rex wouldn't pull Mark Sanchez out of the starting position, there's no way in hell he does it to Geno.

His second interception was an all time terrible decision

Geno didn't play that bad last night. The pick in the end zone wasn't a great throw, but I don't remember New York having a ton of success running the ball on first down. The Bears D did a great job of making Geno try to beat them with his arm, and Geno almost did.

Also, if the refs had given the Jets that TD earlier they screwed them out of, Geno would have been driven them down to kick the game winning field goal. He got them to the 10.

He needs an actual weapon on offense before I can make an accurate judgement. Decker has been injured and the rest of that WR core are middling scrubs.

It doesn't matter which shitty QB they start if Marty Mornhinweg is calling the plays.

The clock starts ticking for every professional athlete as soon as he gets drafted/signed to a team. There is always someone behind him trying to get better and trying to take his job.

Well, the good news is that Geno Smith is on pace to throw 16 TDs this season (up four from 2013). The bad news is he is on pace to throw 21 INTs... again.

The pick-six that he threw 30 seconds into the game was horrendous. The interception he threw later intended for David Nelson also deserved a chuckle.

His team is not terrific by any stretch, but it's not off-the-charts bad, either. He is young, he has time, but I just don't buy the guy to ever be more than a below-average starting quarterback.
