I don't see a problem with that but just the concept of dropping Brady is crazy unto itself.

It was the smart play. Brady was the 2nd worst QB on a roster in this league. (Newton being the worse)

I would've tried to trade Cousins to someone in desperate need of a QB for a guy like Mike Wallace or Deandre Hopkins, if it's a PPR. You have Wilson.

It's PPR and Im high on the Kirk Cousin bong rips. Plus with Wilson on a bye this week it came down to starting Kirk vs NYG or Tom @ KC this week.
Best I could get for Tom was the Patriots Def which I didn't want.

Yea, you couldn't do much upgrading there. 
That team is pretty damn solid. I think you made the right choice. You have a teem full of studs and now have potential stud QB.
