I dated a girl from age 22 to 27. One of her friends just told me that she cheated on me with some guy in the last year of our relationship. I haven't longed for this girl in years but for some reason this is really fricking bothering me. This girl was an absolute knockout, but I have no doubt we were not a good match as far as marriage. I'm 32 now and have an awesome girlfriend that I truly adore. Is it reasonable for me to be this hurt 5 years later?

You're human. Just don't dwell on it.

Then you shouldn't be shocked.

She's already your ex. Now you just have a better reason why.

its reasonable to be hurt, definitely. but it sounds like youre in a better place so, in the big picture going forward, does it really matter what the ex did?

The only reasonable way to cope through this frustration and pain is by posting a bunch of her pics.

It's science.

Playas gone play, ballers gonna ball, you get the picture.

Yea that sucks man. Pretty sure something similar happened to me but I haven't asked around about it or tried to seek out the truth. I just ignore it because I don't want to think about that shite. Things were fricked up at the end and people are people.

And anyways, I'm with a girl now who is hotter and less crazy and we are engaged now, so I'm winning with an upgrade.

Nahh I'd say its a normal response, the emotions you broke up with her for should be long gone but finding something like that out after the fact would be crushing for most people, no matter how much time has passed. Like they saying don't dwell, she's gone and you've got another. It'll come back around if it didn't already

The only way to make yourself feel better is to lie and tell her friend that you were cheating on her too. The word will get back to her and she will feel your feels.

Nah, she will eventually feel justified. Just say you don't care because you never truly loved her. Then tell her you hope she matures as a person so she can find true happiness.

Game. Set. Match.
