The MAC should offer ND State a spot (they do have an odd number of members).

No, no they should not. NDSU brings nothing to them really. Also NDSU does not have the attendance to qualify.

Does NW State have a chance to compete and crack the T25 this season?

No they lost to SMS so no playoff chance. Top 25 maybe, if get on a run.

Thanks, I'm somewhat ignorant towards FCS football.

Northern Iowa has a stud tailback by the name of David Johnson. He lit up Iowa like a fricking Christmas Tree and will get a shot on Sundays. Iowa wanted him, but he was an academic stretch.

I know he is on the Payton Award list. I used to work with their OL Coach and he raves about him.

Yes and yes. Opening loss to Missouri State hurt them initially but if they go on a nice run they'll probably start getting votes.
As far as playoffs no one has been eliminated yet. Conference champions automatically get a spot in the playoff and NSU definitely has the talent to win the SLC.
Outside of winning the SLC the only other way for them to make it would be to finish the year 9-3, which would probably leave them either tied for first in the SLC or second and a nice November trip to Montana.
Possible, but not probably for the Demons t make it in with a 8-4 record.

wtf are you talking about. 15k average is the requirement to move up to FBS even if its barely ever enforced. Their are MAC schools who don't meet that right now and NDSU has been sold out at 18K+ for years.
MAC
Ohio 21,844
Northern Illinois 20,877
Toledo 20,552
Kent State 17,880
Central Michigan 16,036
Bowling Green 15,632
Miami (OH) 15,333
Western Michigan 14,579
Buffalo 13,242
Ball State 12,930
Massachusetts 10,901
Akron 9,275
Eastern Michigan 3,923
Accumulated home attendance: 1,122,254
Average attendance per home game: 14,963
They would be 4th in Mac attendance. The real question is why does Eastern Michigan continue to play FBS football. Thier attendance is low even by FCS standards.

He played really well against NDSU last year, then he got hurt. UNI could make some noise if he can stay healthy.

Eastern Michigan is 5 miles from Ann Arbor. Their attendance probably suffers heavily on Wolverine home games.

NDSU brings nothing but a quality football and basketball program. They are coming off three consecutive FCS titles in football and their last four basketball coaches included Tim Miles (Nebraska), Saul Phillips (Ohio), Ray Giacoletti (Drake), and Greg McDermott (Creighton). That is an impressive string of coaches for a program that was in Division II until fairly recently.
What attendance do they need to qualify? I am genuinely curious because they filled the Fargodome up to 98% (18,622) capacity in 2013. By comparison, there are just three MAC teams that had a higher average attendance than NDSU.

The attendance thing is meaningless, schools can get around it with ease.
