Surprising

quote:

Described as a "swan song" for Wright, The Endless River is mostly an instrumental album consisting primarily of ambient music. The album is based on unreleased material the band produced with Wright during sessions for The Division Bell in 1994, and was originally recorded under the tentative title The Big Spliff.

That is good news. I am glad they aren't doing the oft-criticized "dad-rock" thing.

Sounds like more Pinkish Floyd. I'll add this to the sleep playlist in which The Division Bell resides.

Just wanted to point out that this list of B2B will NEVER be touched:

DSOTM
Wish You Were Here
Animals
The Wall

Untouchable to release that many great albums at that level in a row.

Heady--the difference in file resolution, if run through a DAC that can decode higher resolutions (16 bit/44.1k, 24 bit/96k, or even 32 bit/192k) is not subtle.

It's like an mp3 gives you meat and 'taters (you get fed), while hi res gives you the appetizers, salad, entree, dessert, and cappuccino!! (You enjoy the meal).

Enjoy the listen...

I get it. I just have pretty bad hearing to begin with. Actually it got a little better a few weeks ago when I went to my ENT and got some impacted wax out of my ears
