IMO, Mississippi State's QB, OL, DL, and LBS are all more talented as a whole, than our guys.. Hate to say it, but they are better than us this year. In nearly every phase of the game.

QB - more polished. Harris is just as or more talented than DP

OL - As a unit, yep. would love to have Day as our center (spare me the tpos remarks)

DL - most certainly. LSU has some talent but Haley has to move it forward

LBS - No. If we had better play from DT, these guys would look better as a unit (DJ not withstanding. He just isn't talented enough)

I'm pretty sure Miss State's kicker would be a better linebacker than Welter.

guy is a player. he's better than porter or anyone else we toss out at center. like i said, tactics aside, i'd want him more than what we have now.

Mckinney is one of the best linebackers in the country and the Brown is a really good athlete. They're absolutely better at LB. State has a top 3 LB corps in the SEC

More talented:

DT.

LB.

QB.

Their O-line and skill players are not more talented just put in better positions to succeed.

Not possible. Last 5 years Rivals recruiting ranks:

--------- LSU -- Moo State
2010 ---- 6 ------ 38
2011 ---- 6 ------ 44
2012 --- 18 ----- 30
2013 ---- 6 ------ 26
2014 ---- 2 ------ 37

Da'Runnya Wilson was a 2-star. Dude's a beast. Abused White and Thomas.

They have legit playmakers. I don't care how many stars they had.

Sadly this is going to be the case in several more games this year.

Don't know how much stock I'd put in Rivals rankings when we just got beat badly on the field. Who gives a frick about recruiting rankings if they don't equate to W's on the field? But hey, if finishing 2nd in the recruiting race last year makes you sleep better at night...
