There is zero chance Harris starts at this time if Jennings is healthy.

Unless Jennings is hurt, he will start.Les always plays a favorite player rather than his best player. Any body remember JJ?

I think the coaches need to let Harris start and see what he can do. Based on Miles past, Jennings will start which is the wrong decision.

If Jennings is healthy, he's starting.

Yeah, I remember JJ. He was the guy that threw for over 4700 yards in his career and who ran for over 1000 yards. Started 32 games....accounted for 46 TD's total passing/running.

There is a lot of dislike for the guy around here....understandably so. He isn't one of my favorite dudes in the world either. However, to say that he didn't play well his entire career is delusional, at best. He was very productive for a lot of his career, and that his why he got to play...NOT because he was "a favorite".

Harris= Lee

So therefore Harris will never start even if we can't cross midfield for three quarters.

don't insult harris like that. nothing against lee, but harris is all-sec talent, and lee was not.

Jarrett Lee's senior year.

7-0 as a starter
14 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Benched after 7 th game.
Led all SEC quarterbacks in passing efficiently .
Second longest streak in LSU history without an interception.

I'll take those stats for LSU every year!

Doesn't matter which starts, matter which plays better

I don't disagree about Harris, but Lee performed well in 2010 and 2011 against nearly every team except 2011 Alabama. He won the Tennessee and Bama games for us in '10 with key completions, not to mention bailing Miles out against an inferior Florida team in the Swamp.

Wasn't All-American, but Lee at least made defenses somewhat respect the LSU downfield passing game.

i'm afraid miles is fearful of harris getting a legit shot of playing and making him look foolish with his management of these two qbs

Harris outperformed Jennings in just the last 4 minutes. Giving Harris the start could ignite a fire in our offense. Also, the kid's got an arm and can get the ball to the receiver very quick. Jennings just doesn't have the zip to get the ball to the receiver quickly. Our short pass game is limited because the ball takes too long to get there. Harris has the armstrength. His only downside, is he doesn't know the play book as well. But by giving him more reps, he can learn.

So in short, Jennings will start. Harris will start in 2017.

We should start Harris the rest of the season. I see no negatives from doing that, only positives. Harris can do anything Jennings can, it isnt exactly hard to throw for 50%

The problem is we saw what type of player Lee was and he just wasnt any better. But we havent seen enough of harris and i dont see why not. We will never know unless he gets significant playing time. It is clear he has a great arm and has much higher ceiling than lee, jj and aj.
