Did anyone doubt that Gillibrand's mysterious sexist congressman was a Dem?

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York caused a commotion this month when she revealed in a memoir how her male colleagues felt free to comment rather vividly on her weight. The senator came under pressure to reveal the names of the perpetrators, but declined, setting off a guessing game in Washington.

Probably the most egregious incident was when a senior senator squeezed her waist and told her: “Don’t lose too much weight now. I like my girls chubby!”

It turns out the senator was the late Daniel K. Inouye of Hawaii, the decorated veteran and civil rights hero, according to people with knowledge of the incident.

No surprise. Libs are usually the least tolerant people out there.

The Left has made a cottage industry out of victim's groups.

Remember the War on Women?

Yet they celebrate the sexual predators among them. Kennedy(s), Clinton, etc.

Now Inouye was probably engaging in a little old school stereotyping.

But you can be darn sure that if he had been a Republican she would be screaming from the rafters, and he would have been hounded out of office, a la Bob Packwood.

But you see, he voted the right way. Especially on abortion. So he gets a pass.

Sorry but I couldn't help but laugh. The more things appear to change the more they stay the same.

She wouldn't have declined if it was a Republican.

Packwood? Come on man, he's a bad poster boy for a Republican who was treated unfairly. Are you even aware of the stuff he did?

When this first came up I said if anyone actually said this it was not likely a Republican. I didn't believe her though. I just figured she was trying to justify being fat.

Clinton harassed more women on a Monday morning than Packwood harassed his entire career. And I'm still glad they kicked Packwood out.

The funny thing is Packwood was somewhat liberal/moderate. He introduced the first pro-abortion legislation. He just was a Republican and had to therefore be made an example.
