I would rather lose to Miss State the way we did than lose to Ole Miss like we did in 2013 (doesn't matter how close it was or that it was away, can't stand losing to Ole Miss). So just looking at loss in general not how games turned out. Basically I'd rather us lose a wake up game to Miss State than another other SEC we play.

I disagree.

The Ole Miss loss was due, in large part, to bad decisions. Those can be fixed.

Last night, LSU was thoroughly dominated PHYSICALLY. That cannot be fixed nearly as fast and is extremely concerning, since LSU's identity is/was physicality.

I do agree with you 100% but just looking at the loss in general. I would take a Miss State loss over Ole Miss. So having Miss State as a wake up game loss is just better than having to hear all the trash talk from Ole Miss fans

I mean theres no doubt we got dominated in all aspects of game (coaching included). Ole Miss loss was bad performance but those throws from Mett were really the difference. As crazy as it sounds our defense could improve, we did it after Georgia last season. It was slow improvement but it was indeed improvement lol
