TL;DR

I was on the highschooll sidelines because of an ACL tear. I was a junior and it was 2011. I didn't watch CFB so I was ignorant to LSU and its 2011. Anyway, it's gameweek and we play teurlings. The game wasn't really hyped. A little bit of "they are better than thought to be" and "they're well coached". Nothing too unusual. Game time. Probably one of the shittiest days ever. The whole game we were waxed. We couldn't do this, we couldn't do that. Dropped passes, missed assignments, the whole 9 yards(literally).

So we got our arse whooped. Up and down the field. I'm pretty sure we scored late to make it respectable. Point being, nobody felt good after that game. We all felt like shite. Not a single player said a word on the way home. But it made us grow. It made us stronger. The next week in practice was all business. The rest of the year was all business. It took one game to remind us take we were still human. We were still beatable. And don't get me wrong, the arse whopping we received was as embarrassing as can be. It was 28-7. I think Travin scored our only touchdown.

Point being is sometimes, especially a young team and early in the season you need nights like last night/Sat NIGHT. It's just a reminder to our fanbase and our squad that we're still human and still learning and growing. 7/10 we win last night. Miss St literally did the impossible. Give them props, move on and get ready for the second half our of brutal schedule.

And just a heads up, the next week we smoked an undefeated STM 28-14 and we could've put 50 on them if Coach Paul didn't respect his opponents. They made us pay for the embarrament we lad to them my senior year. Don't give up hope!

i don't even want to think about what could have been for BBHS in the past. Mowad and Broussard are 2 coaches i'd line up with Les

don't get me wrong either i knew coach Mo outside of BBHS, he is a good guy. people would freak if they knew of all the talent that has gone through that school. it's one of the reasons Saban started recruiting BBHS

4 D1 prospects this year on D alone.

Nothing like the 17 Karr has year on and year out.

Me and Kagan party often and he's prwctically my brother. I'll ne seeing him when he comes back down.

But anyway. Not to get this off topic, but Les is still incredibly better than Mo or Paul. These games happen.

State was due and wanted it more last night. We didn't come to play and they did. A loss like this could be good for this young team going forward. Alot needs to change, but we have the talent and coaching to get there....maybe not this year but in the foreseeable future.

Somebody tell the team cause they think they're golden. Too much Hollywood. They're spoiled. Defense is too busy orchestrating the crowd to get louder. (gives them a sense of power) which they need cause they're about to get their azzes kicked on the next play, (again). Secondary can't tackle. They can cover but can't tackle. Once again, an unprepared team loses to an inferior opponent and keeps us out of the sec championship game. Miles' ego is a detriment to the team.

I don't get how you played football and didn't follow college football.

I played it for the sport and the camaraderie. When I tore my ACL I had nothing to do so I started watching it. Just so happened to be during 2011.

Get a little verbiage cleaned up and that's billboard material for the LSU locker room. I hope thing turn out like your 2011 season did after a more than humbling defeat. Thanks for sharing.

Brother, this game was one in which we were destroyed by a better team. Our offensive and defensive lines were abused. We virtually have no mike linebacker. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but prepare yourself for a very, very disappointing season. The good news is, I do believe in the next two years this will change, but right now, prepare to hopefully go 500. Just saying. The facts are the facts.
