Anybody have any experience with Steve Lyons @ Hickory Ridge Retrievers?

Looking for someone to train my puppy & this place is only about 20 minutes from my house.

Feedback or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bumping an old thread. Can't speak about their training, but we have bought one puppy from them and about to buy another. Very satisfied with our interaction with them.

Bumping again. Picked up our pup in early October. He's a firecracker. Very smart, lots of energy. Gets into mischief if you dont keep watch him. Was very easy to housetrain and teach basic obedience. I estimate he will be 75-80 lbs when full grown. Nice size but not huge. Will start on retriever training after duck season. Right now just throwing bumpers for fun and he has a lot of drive to go after them.

Were eyes and hips certified to not be bad?

It’s a health guarantee on puppies not a certification. Hips can’t be certified until 2 years old, not sure on cerf. He has cerf/ofa on breedings, Training should be done else where.

Parents are certified. Puppy has a guarantee.
