Starting speaking to AN OLD EX after my divorce. She resides in Momtana. Who has been ? What is it like ? What is there to do ?
I plan on visiting after the winter.
Thoughts ?

Eastern and Western Montana are totally different. Eastern is flat grassland. Western is mountainous, very beautiful. What part are you referring to?

Missoula is badass. Really cool college town with a lot of bars in a small area.

Yes.

For our family vacation the summer before 3rd grade, we drove all the way up there (passing by Pike's Peak and Mt. Rushmore) and stayed for a week in Idaho near the border of Yellowstone Park.

It was awesome and I've always wanted to go back, as it was the best vacation of my life.

I've always wanted to go ever since I was in the Soviet Navy and helped my captain steal our most advanced and undetectable submarine as a sweetener for when we defected to the United States.

Why don't you ask your ex? The one who lives there. The one you have been talking to.

On the good side of the State not far from Bozeman or Yellowstone. Pretty town.
