I know last night was tough but Tiger stadium looks badass on tv. The upgrades are nice and I can't wait Togo to a game there.

The outside looks terrible, but I agree that the inside is sexy.

I have traveled to most of the SEC venues and have to say, I have always been a little jealous of many of them...that is no longer the case. I am now proud of our facilities....

Yep. Imposing as hell. Just for a moment last night, we got a taste of what could be. MSU's possession after Hunter's scoop and score was off the charts loud.

Outside looks like you took three or four different stadium designs and mashed them together. I get purple and gold colored glasses, but the stadium is objectively disjointed looking.

Blame that on the architects that did the West Side expansion. Like they just slapped on whatever with no regard for the look and feel of the stadium. Totally out of character with the rest of the stadium.

Now look at how well the guys that did the new south upper exterior did--incorporating the Coliseum style Arches etc...

I thought it was as loud as I have heard it for about 5 minutes in the 3rd quarter. Not sure how it sounded from the rest of the stadium but it was really loud in the lower south end zone.

I'm in North endzone and my ear drums were rattling.

As far as loudness goes, I posted in another thread that after the fumble returned for a touchdown, during the MSU series the concrete was vibrating the bottom of my feet. It was so loud that it literally felt like the stadium was about to take off, and I was sitting in the west upper. I can't imagine how loud it was in the lower bowl.

LSU takes the victory for the better stadium than Mississippi State if that's any consolation prize. Much much better than Davis Wade.
