And no, I don't mean because it might get Les fired. After listening to Miles' comments after the game I honestly thought he looked more disgruntled than I've ever seen him after a loss. I hope that he saw last night's game the same way I saw it- the end of any SEC championship hopes we had this year. Some of you will say that's an overreaction but you'd be more than optimistic to think that this young team can take the west this year. Maybe, just MAYBE, getting embarrassed so early in the season will convince miles to take some risks that he's been reluctant to try. For example, starting Harris even if he is not quite as comfortable as Jennings yet, or spreading the offense out and implementing a new approach even if it means we struggle to adjust for a few games. I feel like we have nothing to lose now, and that may be just what we need. Flame on

NO... The best loss LSU has ever had was losing to FLA in 2003... That woke that team up and they turned into one of the best teams in LSU history, If not the best... This lose isn't a blessing at all. It was a total beatdown and Miles does NOT know how to use this SO-CALLED talent he has recruited.....

Starting Harris is the best possible thing that could happen to this thing.

We as fans knew what we had before last night. The coaches see it more than us. Besides a trick play every now and then when has Miles ever changed it up completely. We have an elderly coaching staff. They might remember the wing-t, or the wishbone but other than that I don't see it.

LSU expects big time fees from the fans. Fans expect big time teams from LSU.

No excuses. Lower tickets and fees by 25% for this type of team.

well yes on that part. That is obvious and the spreading out the offense has been obvious since the first game. Not sure where your going with the it might get Les fired part. Why would that happen? Also championship hopes aren't out the window, just need to change up the offense.

Les doesn't do logical. That mindset is too much common sense to handle.

Dude, you sound like Ron Zook after a loss (when he was HC at Florida): "We'll be a better team because of this". Until Miles gets his head out of his arse and opens up the offense, we will continue to suck donkey dongs.

Let’s face it, either he starts making changes to an antiquated offense scheme, someone else will come to LSU who will. But note also, the defense is horrible.

How come Alabama doesn't ever need any "blessings in disguise" to force them to make changes?

Does that mean we'll see Russell Sheperd with the ball next week?
Does that mean we'll "start getting tight ends into the passing game"?
Does that mean we will take out the (drum roll, please) Secret Play Book?
You realize that all the foregoing myths have been fostered by Les' longstanding refusal to change any aspect of his offensive scheme.

That's pretty much what I said in the OP Although I don't think we'll "suck donkey dick", I think this will be a tough year (regardless of offensive approach) and if we continue with this approach, we will be a 9-10 win team the next couple years but never reach our true potential

By no means am I comparing this defense to 2003 but that 2003 game was a beatdown also. Our offense looked more inept in that game than this past one. We only scored on a punt return TD and let a zook coached true freshman qb Florida team take our manhood at home. 56 yards on 24 carries 8 punts 2 ints and a fumble.

If it forces change, hell yeah. I'd rather lose now and get the more talented players game experience than rely on average to below average players and win ugly. shite will pay off over the next 2-3 years.

2012 UGA got spanked by USCe 35-7 and was a yard away from playing for the national championship. It can be a wakeup call.

Hell, this team almost took a 34-10 deficit to victory. They already overcame 24-7 against Wiscy.

Uh, Saban has overhauled his entire defense in response to being beaten by JFF. They've cut weight and increased speed across the board. He has also encouraged no-huddle after being beaten by and watching Gus.
