Is the defense fixable?

I'm afraid we have a mediocre secondary and a bad front 7
I think the defense will improve by the end of the season but will it be fast enough to save us from four more losses I'm just not sure

That is the million dollar question. Everyone was laughing at steve spurrier and USCe after the Agiies goe a hold of them and they seemed to make adjustments and are doing fine. I don't know if its just adjustments, we just don't seem to have the personnel up front as you stated. And this is what gets me and I certainly admith that I don't follow recruiting anymore but all of the Tiger Board Recruiting gurus seem to say that we finish in the top 5 recruiting every year. Then I ask , how is it that a team that supposedly finishes in the top 20 every years out plays us from top to botton.

The secondary is very good in my opinion. The front 7 particularly in the middle is weak. Don't know if its fixable. I just can't see where the answers are on the roster.

If you don't have the personnel then you should scheme to cover that... the secondary is very solid, but we definitely need to take Welter out and put in Beckwith, would help a lot
