I think not having AP will hurt Cordarelle's stats even though he is their only weapon now. Asiata sux so defenses will be focusing everything on Patterson. I want to be wrong, I really do. But I think Cordarelle will do less than expected this year

Or, his preseason hype was so high that his expectations were unrealistic to begin with.

I actually thought this would happen. The Vikings had two game changers on offense, now they have one. Pretty hard to produce when opposing teams know you are the only major threat.

I think it will be better for him if Cassel is down for a while. He is terrible.

Maybe but Teddy is kind of a dink and dunker. Maybe they will call more run and WR screens for Patterson

If he was in a better team he could easily live up to the hype.

There's no denying that he has the talent/physicality

He can't be worse than Cassel.

It seems they dont give him the ball enough. They need to setup more wr screens for him like 2 or 3 a game. He is a beast and can have some good plays

He needs more rushes and he needs routes that get him the ball in space. Minnesota offense has looked bad the last two weeks, which is why I benched him this week.

If my aunt had balls then she'd be my uncle. Talent and physicality doesn't always translate into production.

Now don't get me wrong, I like Patterson. But his preseason hype was exaggerated. People were expecting crazy numbers from him. He'll be good, very good, in time.

It doesn't translate into production when you are surrounded by a weak team

I think it has more to do with no Peterson. AD faced by far the most eight and even nine man boxes in the league. The Vikings are forced to pass more and there are no facing loaded boxes, so there is a lot more attention paid to shutting down to Patterson. AD was the main reason the other guys were able to produce.

Agree.

The dude is explosive, but he's not a great route runner with great hands. He's not an elite WR. He an elite athlete who plays WR. He's not gonna be a volume catch guy.

Lulz

As we sit now he's the 15th highest scoring WR in PPR leagues

And he's only going to get better

His ADP was as a WR2 or maybe even flex depending on if he fell to like the fifth or sixth round.

Patterson only needs to be top 20 or so to get a respectable return on him.

He's got 11 catches thru 3 weeks. Print the fricking shirts.

the dude is talented but he is limited with no AP, and Cassel/TB at QB. The guy has Moss-like talent but no one to play opposite him and or get him the ball

Top 30 PPR to justify a WR2/flex for me

He's one of those guys that will go on a tear. The Vikings offense is terrible and has no rhythm and he's still eating. Wait until he hits those division games

I think Peterson is the most important non-QB in the league. They look so different without him.

You saw Patterson had that one explosive 28 yard play. If he found paydirt, then they we would have seen "Official Cordarrelle Patterson Appreciation Thread" on this board.
