I am throwing my name in the hat.

If hired, first move will be bringing one of the all time greats back to Atlanta.....Mr. Martin Prado.

You're missing next years potential rookie of the year in Jose Peraza. He will play either second or maybe center field, if he gets the shot in the spring.

Chipper ain't coming back. Dude has a sick gig with Major League Bow hunter. I know this because he told me that much in person in San Antonio this summer.

hard pass. hire coppolella and become a forward looking franchise instead of one looking to duplicate the success of the nineties using something called the 'braves way' instead of 'having a lot of hall of famers and a top 2 payroll'

I'm hearing what some other folks have speculated with #braves: Wren wanted Fredi Gonzalez out, and Bobby Cox pushed to keep him.

frick you Bobby

listening to the press conference going on right now (Fox Sports South), and they've said that the new General Manager will have a big say in the future of the coaching staff and that they (Scheurholz, Hart, and Cox) have not spoke to Fredi regarding his position going forward.

Might be a inside story to why he was fired.

Fredi has zero fricks left to give...all of his favorites will get some extra play time before he gets fired at the end of the season

Bobby pushing for Fredi after leaving reminds me of Saban pushing for Houston Nutt after leaving LSU.

Anyone watching MLBN. Freeman and Heyward asked about Fredi.

Freeman: "We're 100% behind Fredi. He has a great baseball eye and mind."

Heyward: "Those aren't my decisions to make."

to be fair, it's not like they can trash the guy especially if there's even the slightest chance he may be back next year.

The BJ Upton contract is one thing. Fredi had Uggla in Miami. Did Wren go get Uggla at Fredi's urging or did Wren go get Uggla in spite of Fredi saying please no?

That, IMHO, is the real question as to which one should have been fired.
