I haven't fact checked it, but someone said 13 teams have gone to multiple BCS bowls since 2008. And I get it, AL shouldn't have been in the title game in 2012, but it happened and we've been on a skid ever since.

Auburn has gone to the BCS title game with TWO different coaches.

Alabama is ALWAYS in the hunt. We are not. You'll never hear a Bama fan say, yeah this isn't our year, we should be better next year.

That's two teams in our division who have passed us up. Not even counting Ole Miss who beat us last year with a depleted defense and MSU who torched us last night.

We have been passed up, plain and simple. Miles should've benched Jennings at half. He will ride a crappy QB all game and LSU paid for it. I feel like we have the Mark Richt of the SEC West.

And yet they suffered a losing season where they saw their head coach fired during this time frame. Auburn was very fortunate to have the ball bounce their way several times last year, i.e. against Georgia and Alabama.

No. No. No.

It's one game. We lost. We were out planned, out coached and out executed last night. It happens.

We'll get better.

Our approach on offense is poor. Saban has most certainly opened up the approach at Bama. We are living with a philosophy that will not work unless you have superior talent; we do not.

You'd rather be Wisconsin or Stanford right now? How about Utah?

BCS tie-ins make for really bad teams playing in major bowls

When LSU doesn't have a significant talent advantage Miles' offensive scheme is hot garbage. The D just lacks talent in the front 7.

There was a time not too long ago when Alabama was hot garbage during the Shula, Franchione, Dubose period and we would take them to the woodshed. But Bama is Bama and they have the tradition on their side that helps them with recruiting - Shula was getting 4 and 5 star recruits. The problem generally is Miles' philosophy on offense. He is still living with a Perriloux hangover when it comes to the offense. He learned how to survive and even thrive without a competent QB. The problem is that thinking is catching up with him now that he has to rebuild a depleted defense.
