Many were not happy with LSU's offensive game plan even in the previous 3 games that they won and predicted it won't work in SEC games. I am afraid Miles is an old fashion guy who is stuck in the 70s and does not know how to change even if he wants to. It is like a person who has used paper and pencils all his life and you are asking him to use a computer now. He could just watch TAM, Oregon, or even Alabama's offense to see how they get their running backs to run in the open field instead of between the tackles. He is very afraid of interceptions but he doesn't realize the difference between an INT and 3 runs and punt is most likely only a few yards of field position.

well said.

Alabama's offense was a thing of beauty. They didn't go HUNH, but still controlled the game with the run imposing Derrick Henry on UF at then end. It was a modern offense but still had plenty of looks where they could run to keep the opposition off balance.

He may not know how to change but he could let his OC do his job.

That could be the only hope.

We need to go spread. Everyone else is doing it and it works.
