Miles runs an offense that has gone the ways of the dinosaurs. Start the game 3 runs up the middle. Power your way through opponents. Don't look for advantages to exploit in personnel.

Yep, and we will continue to see 7,8, and 9 men fronts when LSU has the ball. Ah, develop the QB? Forget about it. Happy feet in the mold of JJ.
And let's just leave the defense on the field for much of the game. Ever wonder why the D is worn by the fourth quarter? That's what happens when the other team can out man your one dimensional offense.
No matter who the Offensive coordinator is, the offensive looks the same (last year was an aberration).
It is Miles offensive blue print, and if he doesn't let up on the reigns, it is going to be a long year.

The defense last night didnt get worn down. It got physically dominated the entire game. Oline got dominated as well on thier side of the ball.

Its been a while since lsu was Just plain ole whipped in Both lines of scrimmage.

This is Cam's offense as well. I can't understand why 100% of the blame falls on Miles.

Miles is Cams boss. Do you do what your boss tells you to do as it relates to your job?

Because despite going through 3 different offensive coordinators, we've seen the same consistent issues with the offense.

You really can't understand that the OC is running what CLM says to run?

Rarely used pre-made alters. They either don't want to get their main account banned for starting the thread, or their main account was banned last night.

Because he is the head coach and is responsible for 100% of what happens in the program. He has had a good run, and I'm a fan of him personally, but I can't support his style of football. It gets wins by beating teams with lesser talent. But unless you have a defense with 6 NFLers starting as veteran players like 2011, you can't beat teams that can stop the 2 TE - i formation.

I think he knows football, probably forgot more than I know, but like the OP stated, he develops the game plan with the OC, and it has become painfully obvious that LSU is no longer able to beat teams with similar talent. I don't believe in "the decline" but I also don't see progress and development of players in the program. Mettenberger being the exception and not the trend.

I REALLY hope I'm wrong, but last night cut pretty deep.

I think Miss. St players were playing dirty. The center was stepping on purpose on LSU players on the ground. He did it four times until he was finally flagged for doing it.

I just hope it's become painfully obvious to Miles now that the offense has to change. If Mississippi State can stop you cold, then you gotta change it up. I've always said we need a legit deep threat in this offense, and without one we will be stopped.

I think we should pass to set up the run.

And we let them get away with it. We are not a good team. The way you stop that shite is by pushing back. We had no push last night.
