Battery not charging on Asus G74.

Take the battery out and unplug it, then hold down the for 60 seconds.

The power button.
But if your battery is dead, it's dead. I've had to replace the battery on my G73 after a few years. They only have a limited number of charges before they're basically worthless, and if you let them discharge completely when they've reached the end of life, they'll sometimes never charge again.
