Anyone make it to a prerelease last night?
I crushed mine and went home with 20 packs along with the fetchland and Sorin that I opened. Really curious to see how this format drafts before I head to GP Orlando.

'll jump into a pre release flight today or tomorrow. The set looks like a lot fun to draft. Hoping to get some fetches for all my EDH decks.

unfortunately I never got a chance to draft Shards, so I'm not entirely sure how drafting a 3 color set works. Looks like you should start with two enemy colors and try to figure out which wedge is more open to finish with the splash.

I'm gonna tap two islands and counter that post

I finally got a chance to draft it last night and I think it's one of the most interesting draft formats in a while. It forces you to make a lot of tough choices between high-impact spells and the ability to cast them reliably.
There are a lot of situations where it's perfectly reasonable to first or second pick a nonbasic land (and not even considering the price of fetchlands... in fact in a competitive environment the fetches are probably the worst of the 3 nonbasic land cycles)
