**Derrius Guice Season stats: 145carries, 1341yards, 602rec yards, 29 total TDs

Made 1 of these threads the last 3 Friday nights, so just gonna make it a season long Guice thread.
Game 1 vs Parkview - 8 carries for 134 rushing yards with 3 TDs(all in 1st half), 79 receiving with a TD. 213 total yards with 4 TDs.
Game 2 vs Mandeville - 11 carries, 182 yards and 3 TDs, 92 receiving. 274 total yards and 3 TDs in about 2 quarters(didn't play but a series or 2 in 2nd half)
Game 3 vs Denham Springs - 13 carries for 144 rushing, 4recs for 123 yards. 267 total yards, 4 TDs.
Game 4 vs Rummel - 14 carries for 30 yards, 5 receptions for 36yards and 1 TD(Fulton, CB for Rummel, had 2 INTs).
Game 5 vs Salmen - 7 carries, 111 yards, 2 TDs. 1 rec, 14 yards and a TD.
Game 6 vs St. Amant - 14 carries, 239 yards, 4 TDs. 3 recs, 28 yards. All in 1st half. And think he had 3 TDs 3 carries in a row in 2nd quarter.
Game 7 vs Dutchtown - 22 carries, 160 yards, 5 recs for 12 yards, 2 total TDs.
Game 8 vs McKinley - had 1 TD. Left after 1st drive due to an injury. Supposed to not be serious.
Game 9 vs Woodlawn - 23 carries for 163 yards. 3recs for 20 yards. 2 TDs.
Game 10 vs EA - 17 carries for 108yards, 3 TDs. 224all purpose yards with 4 TDs.
Game 11 vs Brother Martin - 15 carries for 70 yards, 7recs for 82yards and 1 TD.
Season total: 145carries for 1341yards (9.2ypc) with 602rec yards for a total of 1,943yards and 29 TDs.

I think his game will translate well to the college level. Unreal explosion and build combo.

I think the 80 yard TD was also a screen and not a run.

Thougt it was a run... could be a pass play. Listening to the radio but BBQing outside so going in and out. And Catholics sports twitter page says 80yard play by Guice... so not sure what it is.

Not going to say he's the best RB in the country, because I haven't given attention to other top RBs
But he's a damn monster

Ive looked at Damian Harris and Patrick a little bit.
Both are great RBs, no doubt. But Guice is just as good or better IMO. I cant sit here and say Harris and Patrick are better than Guice. All are on the same level, unlike last year when LF was the clear cut top RB in the nation. But Guice is just as good as those guys are.
Ive said this a few times on here, but Guice reminds me so much of Cadillac Williams.... and its a random comparison too considering nobody has really said much about him since he got out of the NFL a few years ago. But when I first saw Guice run, I thought he was similar to Williams, just a bit lighter because Guice was a sophomoe at the time. Then last year he was up to 200-205lbs and still ran the exact same way and I thought he was so similar to Williams. Now hes up to 215lbs+ and has a very similar running style and skill set. Very strong and refuses to go down, can run up the middle and on the outside, great 1 step cuts and has a great jumpcut, also has a nasty spin move, and can take it to the house from anywhere on the field running away from everyone else.
Hes a stud.
