Will we ever see 1000 round boxes of 22LR on the shelves again?

I can't even get a box of 22LR in any size.
I remember walking into stores and seeing 22LR piled up like shotgun shell boxes.
What happened?
Kinda defeats the purpose of getting a gun to splurge on ammo with if the ammo has now become precious.

Yes. I saw some here a month ago
They also had a shite ton of 525 packs as well

Academy in Shreveport had a bunch of 300 round boxes last weekend. I think it is starting to get better.

Academy in Harahan had them yesterday. Im signed up for .22 LR on slick guns. Ive been getting alerts at least twice a fay for the last 2 weeks. They coming around.

Check ammoseek.com for .22's. They list the prices and amount per box/case so you can pick out what you want.

Was in Academy on Monday and there were bullets for days. Stacks of .22s. I almost felt like hoarding but I was there to buy soccer cleats for a 4 year old and he throwing an LSU football at everything in the store.

Academy in Central Alabam has boxes piled 10 high of various brands. But, one can only buy 2 per visit.

Does everyone really shoot 22 that much?
I have two. My father was an ammo freak and he died last year. I inherited thousands of rounds. I just don't shoot it much. I shoot my 17 a bit though.

probably because they are asking .10 per rd. or more...
everything I buy is at between .05 - .06 and I'm north of 28k rds...I still buy because it's nothing for my kids to burn through 700-1k rds. in a session about twice a month...
