Peyton Manning:

quote:

"I shot even par, 72, at St. Andrews. Me, Cooper and Eli, and my dad went three summers ago. But, we were playing from the 'up' tees -- because they made you. They get so much play. Everybody wants to go and play where the pros play. They'd be six-hour rounds. So they say, 'Hey, this is where you're playing.' It's probably 6,400 yards. Not a long course at all. I like to say that even if I was all the way back there, I had it dialed in that day. So it was fun. Obviously, that's my favorite golf foursome of all time."

Should be policy on every course IMO... No PGA Card, you ain't good enough to play from 7400

Here's a question that has nothing to do with this thread but it reminded me of something.

If Scotland breaks away from Great Britain, is St. Andrews kept in the British Open course rotation?

Peyton doesn't even have any Nitro. No need for his broken neck to be back where the Nitro flows.

I wonder how many times Cooper and Peyton sat bare assed on Eli's face?

I imagine that they would take them out of the rotation at first but then they come up with some kind of an agreement depending on how other issues are handled. It's yet to be seen exactly how independent Scotland would be with the currency issues and whatnot.

The R&A is in Scotland. The Open Championship is their championship. Like the US Open to the USGA.

I imagine St. Andrews would absolutely stay in the rotation. Over half of courses in the Open rotation are in Scotland.

Scottish independence ain't changing that.

Meanwhile, I read yesterday that St. Andrews will now allow women membership for the first time since the inception of the club dating back to the 1700s.

Since it's the open championship and not British open yes they will keep it there also will be playing in Ireland in the future.

6400 is too fricking short. Surely they have a set of tees farther than that.

I played in a tournament once with Troy Aikmen. He is sandbagging SOB. He claimed a 15 handicap and goes and shoots a 74.

bullshite.
