Do you also believe draft dodging is negligent homicide?

We know for a fact that money is being lost. You don't know for a fact that draft dodging causes a death.

LEGALLY avoiding as much tax as possible is perfectly fine. ILLEGALLY avoiding taxes isn't.

"Negligent homicide is a criminal charge brought against people who, through criminal negligence, allow others to die."

I would assume that dodging the draft forces others to take your place. You are certainly "allowing others to die."

This compares to calling not giving government tax money, theft, right?

Are you saying that it is only negligent homicide if the person who goes in your place is killed?

Are you saying that if I was drafted on July 1 with a report date of July 15 and didn't show up, but the war ended on July 14 I should be charged with negligent homicide?

If you're saying tax evasion is theft, are you also saying that if I didn't pay my taxes on April 15th, but the government said all taxes are forgiven on April 14th, I should be charged with theft?

You can't assume someone would die. You can't even assume where that person would be stationed as they haven't even done boot camp. You are trying to charge someone with murder through the butterfly effect.

Do you also believe that J-walking is forcible rape?

What about failure to get your brake tag? Drunk driving!

Tax evasion isn't theft. Its tax evasion. Those are two different crimes. Theft doesn't necessarily involve lying. Tax evasion does.

I prefer to think of it as the government is like the mafia. And taxes are our protection money. Seems to be more apropos.

I haven't used the term murder.

I am not trying to charge anyone with anything.

I have asked a question only.

This is a poor analogy. By your logic, wouldn't the death of a person who voluntarily joined the armed forced be was KIA be considered a suicide? Of course that would be absurd, just like your example.
