It's doesn't need to be a masterpiece...it's just needs to be something that I can go to the movie theater and laugh my arse off for an hour and a half

I think it has potential if they don't bring Reynolds back. I actually like Ryan Renyolds to an extent but if he returns, than they're going to go the wolverine origins deadpool which just sucks. And I can picture an executive complaining about deadpool being grotesque and toning it down, etc.

clearly you didnt see the teaser footage that reynolds put out. it was exactly as deadpool should be: action packed with one liners and even broke the 4th wall. they arent going with the wolverine origins at all and the original creator is helping with the story.

Reynolds is right for the role. He wasn't the issue with Origins.
The writing for that movie sucked.

I'll add 7 more bow's when Reynolds is officially cast, which I assume is just a matter of time.
Fox also moved back the FF reboot which is good news too. Don't rush it. Take the time to get it right.

I think some of you guys worry about Origins way more than Fox does.
Here's how it works. They ignore it. No big deal. We don't want to remember it and they don't need to acknowledge it. Its a win-win for everyone.
