Audio Messages and Data iOS 8

Simple question, does anyone know how much audio messages will tie up data on your phone?
Let's say you send out 5 minuets of audio messages a month, will that take away data? Do you think it will be a significant amount. I usually have a GB or 2 of free data to use every month.
TIA

No. But there are a handful of data usage apps that you could try and figure it out with yourself. I use Dataman, which is a paid app that I found on promotion, but if you search the App Store for "data usage," you should be able to find something worth using for free pretty readily. I recommend self-testing in this case.
ETA: I don't think you're talking about 1-2GB of data a month unless you basically change from texting to voice texting.

I would think it would depend on if you send it using your cellular data or via wifi (just like Internet usage) but I'm not sure.
I just updated this morning to iOS8 this morning so I don't know all of the new features at the moment and this is actually the first I've heard of this type of message option.

I used it a lot today and found that the voice messages I sent and received averaged 2-5 seconds with a lot of them around 2 sec. I just can't see that racking up to be a problem.
Disclaimer: I don't care because I'm still on that sweet, sweet unlimited teet and it will take a front loader to pull me from it.

Mine is auto deleting all the voice messages after a few minutes.
