I know the Note 4 hasn't been released yet, but the specs are good. I am trying to decide on which one may be the best. Any one have any pro's or con's on either?

G3 is a rock solid device. Really no cons to it other than the 2K screen being extremely new technology

I have a Galaxy S3 now, I don't hate it. I would like to try something new. My wife has the Note 3. Really like the One Plus One, but no removable battery is a deal breaker.

I'm in the same boat. I require a removable battery. I'm waiting to see how battery life is on the Note 4. I like the G3, but have concerns about the battery life.

As bad as touchwiz is, the note series are still top of the line phones.

I had the note 3, and it was a great phone. I rated it just under the G3 and M8, but the Note was an earlier release. I would get the note 4 over the G3

Upgraded from the s3 to the s5. S5 seems to be working fine for me.

The S3 was too solid of a phone for me to move to a different brand.

Don't be concerned. I'm coming from the S3 and the battery life is amazing. With pretty decently heavy use, I can last all day without a problem.

My concerns stem from a battery life test that showed the G3 having about 2 and a half hours less web browsing time than the Note 3, and almost 3 hours less than the S5. Video playback was about the same. On a positive note, the G3 was rated as having 1 and a half hours more web browsing time than the S3, which I'm also coming from. I realize everyone's real world battery life experiences vary greatly.

I've had my g3 for a cpl weeks now and battery life is excellent. LG is also giving away a free backup battery and charger if u get a g3 by the end of the month I think. Mine lasts a day+ with moderate to sometimes heavy use

I read a review that the G3 had some lag. Have you experienced this?

You'll experience lag with both phones.

The battery on my G3 last two days with moderate use. I had concerns before i got it, but this phone has the longest lasting battery of any smart phone I have owned.

I've never had a phone without some sort of lag, but this one is by far the best in that department. The only lag I've really noticed is with the keypad, and it's minor
