I'm a homer, but looking at State's defensive issues, and considering the game is in Tiger Stadium at night, it's a given that LSU should be heavily favored .

Phil Steele and Tony Barnhart should hook up and have their own show... They make millions giving the impression that they are "experts". Phil really went out on a limb for this prediction

Mississippi State is overhyped. I really don't see why everyone thinks this is going to be such a tough game to win. We might not win by double digits, but we should be able to handle State.

Their defensive front is good. Their secondary is piss poor. They allowed several gigantic pass plays to UAB and we have the athletes to be able to test that secondary and a QB that has shown he is capable of getting them the ball. Their offense is ok, but we have a nasty pretty nasty defense. Out secondary will dominate their WRs.

This isn't going to be the year that State beats us.

If we cant handle a bunch of two star athletes we need to go back to the drawing board!

Hate to be that guy, but under Mullen, it's not like they've been recruiting scrubs.

Stack the box. Stuff the run and keep Dak from scrambling and force him to beat you through the air. Manziel couldn't do it.
