Ants in my bathroom- some have wings

They are coming in through some cracks in the baseboard of the bathroom floor. Some are tiny black ones, but many have wings. What does that mean?

I know for a fact they are not termites. I compared one I captured to pictures of a termite. These are definitely winged ants.

We had them two years in a row. They seemed to be worse when it rained a lot. Made me crazy.

Serious answer, you better get pest control out there ASAP. Some species of ants have a phase called nuptial flight where winged individuals of both sexes will fly out to a new area and start breeding to form a new colony. If you're seeing them en masse in your home it means they probably have already set up shop.
